Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Intermediate (Delta)/(Siemens)

Overview

Course description: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Intermediate (Delta)
This course expands the programming principles covered in the fundamental course of PLC Controllers and gives the learner a thorough understanding of the hardware, wiring, communication, and programming principles as applied on the latest IDE (DIADesigner) used for the Delta Controllers.

Topics covered include Overview of DIADesigner, Arithmetic Instructions, Word Logic Instructions, Conversion Instructions, Time related Instructions, Program Control Instructions, Variables(tags) and Data types, String Instructions, Function Block Design, Task Manager, Communication and Network Configuration, Network Control of Field Devices (such as VSD’s).

The learner will perform the Hardware Configuration and Programming in our fully equipped training facility under the guidance of a specialist facilitator.

Requirements:

Completion of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Fundamentals

Course description: Programmable Logic Controllers(PLC): Intermediate (Siemens)
