Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Advanced (Delta)/(Siemens)

Overview

Course description: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Advanced (Delta)

This course offers a comprehensive approach to Delta DIA PLC programming, covering intermediate and advanced concepts. Participants will acquire skills to design, implement, and troubleshoot high-performance industrial automation systems, utilizing Delta DIA’s capabilities.

The course aims to enhance expertise in the Delta DIA platform, incorporating both intermediate and advanced programming techniques.

  • Learn Delta-specific programming methods, including advanced ladder logic and function blocks.
  • Configure and manage digital and analog I/O systems for complex automation scenarios.
  • Master advanced features such as PID control loops and modular code development.
  • Integrate Delta PLCs with HMIs, SCADA systems, and third-party devices for integrated automation.
  • Explore diagnostics and troubleshooting within the Delta DIA environment.
    Requirements:

A foundational understanding of PLC programming, along with the completion of both Fundamentals and Intermediate courses, is recommended.

Course description: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Advanced (Siemens)

This course offers a deep dive into Siemens PLC programming, blending intermediate and advanced concepts for designing sophisticated control systems. By the end, you’ll confidently handle complex challenges with Siemens tools and platforms.

  • Implement Siemens-specific ladder logic, function blocks, and structured programming.
  • Master Siemens TIA Portal for design, simulation, diagnostics, and deployment.
  • Use advanced control strategies like PID loops and data handling.
  • Integrate Siemens PLCs with HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
  • Gain expertise in fault-tolerant systems and modular program design.
    Requirements

Knowledge of basic PLC programming and completion of a Fundamentals and Intermediate course are required.
